    Yesterday, we attended an orientation by Eric Bissler for our clients, purchasing in Verandah. I wanted to let you know what an exceptional job Eric did and I came away feeling even better about Neal than ever. Eric knows his product like the back of his hand and although he’s likely done hundreds of these orientations, he made the presentation interesting and informative and came across as though he genuinely cares about his product and wants the buyers to feel comfortable and happy with everything.

    He very patiently and thoroughly explained about every aspect of the home, appliances, equipment, landscaping, etc. Your company has a true gem in Eric and you’re very lucky to have him. Kudos to you!

    Dear Mr. Neal,

    We just want to take this opportunity to tell you how very pleased we were from day one with Monica Bishop, Sales Associate and Nicole Nisi, Design Consultant.

    After searching for the best community that would fit all our needs for over 2 solid days we were ready to go back to Miami when we stumbled upon your resort, Grand Palm. We had every intention of just walking in and out. Two solid hours later, we were still communicating and being shown the area by Monica. We even had the “ah ha moment” we were both waiting for!

    Weeks later, we had the most detailed, complete and unique experience with Nicole Nisi, who went way beyond the call of duty and shared so much with us. We totally were open to all of her suggestions, ideas and comparisons to what we thought would be appropriate for our new home. She explained everything in detail and was extremely patient and understanding to our needs and wants.

    We purchased one of your homes in Avalon of Naples. This letter is on behalf of one of your employees, Thomas Mamone (Warranty Representative). We would like to take this opportunity to express how very impressed we are with Tommy’s overall diligence, mannerism and kindness. When there were problems that arose, he was there on the spot, correcting what needed to be fixed and in a timely fashion. Tommy is an exceptional and diligent worker. He consistently brings his all and it shows in his constant effort to get the job done.

    Don & Charlotte Malko

    With their 50th anniversary approaching, Don and Charlotte Malko knew they wanted to do something special to celebrate. Going on a cruise or travels abroad didn’t seem worthwhile, as they wanted to mark this milestone with something that would last beyond a few days or weeks. The couple wanted to celebrate with a new home. That’s when they decided to visit Neal Signature Homes at Country Club East. A custom-designed home would not only be a gift to celebrate their golden anniversary, but it would also mark the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.

    Their journey with Neal Communities began when Don and Charlotte first moved to Florida and were searching for a homebuilder. The pair actively participated in many Parade of Homes and open house events; Charlotte even kept a book of newspaper clippings to help them narrow down the right builder. They followed Neal Communities closely, and were ultimately impressed with the beauty of the communities they visited, and the reputation of Pat Neal and his associates.

    “We toured every development, going on every Tour of Homes,” Don said, “and we found ourselves comparing every model home to Charlene Neal’s work. Neal Communities always had the best offerings, and Pat Neal’s professionalism and integrity was found throughout everyone he employs. It made our decision an easy one.”

    They eventually purchased a home with Neal Communities in the Siena neighborhood of The Country Club. Shortly after move-in, they purchased their second Neal Communities home, this time in Central Park, where their daughter would live.

    Excited with all the possibilities of a new home, including new appliances, a new roof and flooring, and the ability to apply all of their creative enthusiasm at the design center, Don and Charlotte knew they wanted to build with Neal again. A month before their 50th anniversary, they walked into the Neal Signature Homes sales center in Country Club East with their hearts set on a new house from the homebuilder that started it all.

    Don is a retired educator, having taught art history and art education for over 33 years. Today, he continues to paint, with oil on canvas, specializing in aviation art. For the past 15 years, Don has been the editor and publisher of AeroBrush, a magazine that focuses on aviation art enthusiasts.

    Using oil paints at home, however, comes with challenges. The smell of turpentine along with the possibility of drips limits his ability to paint without restrictions. That’s why the recently opened Carlotta model home caught his attention. With two separate garages, Don saw the possibility of converting the carriage style garage into an art studio.

    With the unique ability to provide semi-custom homes in a luxury market, the team at Neal Signature Homes quickly assembled to make Don and Charlotte’s home aspirations possible. Lois Reed, New Home Sales Associate, provided guidance on home site selection and plan options. Janet Ladwig, at the Design Gallery, walked them through all of the design possibilities.

    “It’s like being a kid in the candy store,” Charlotte says. An HGTV enthusiast with a passion for home décor, Charlotte couldn’t stop smiling when talking about her new home. “I’m excited for everything,” she said. “I love to shop, but instead of filling my closet, I’m going to fill our new home.”

    After 15 years in their Neal Communities home in Siena, they listed and sold the home in less than 30 days. “The appraisal of the home and what we received for it,” Charlotte said, “it’s just wonderful. The home kept its value over the years and we’re very happy with how it sold.”

    Now the Malkos are happily looking forward to their new home, with expected completion in June 2020.

    “We already live in vacation land,” said Don, “so we have fun every day. Now we’ll have our dream home in a place we love and we can’t wait.”

    We Could Not Love Our House More

    Dear Mr. Neal:

    Recently we contracted to have our second home built in Grand Palm. We originally purchased a villa and after two years, decided that we were ready to upgrade to a larger home. We are so happy that we did because we could not love the house more than we do; it is truly amazing. Mr. Neal, I am writing to you to let you know exactly why we love the house.

    This letter is based on real life experiences in the home building market and I am hoping you give the proper credit due to our builder Marshall Kutz.

    From the day that Marshall first contacted us, he was respectful and convincing that he was in “partnership” to provide us with a product that would more than satisfy our expectations. He considered our experience with home building as he developed a relationship that ultimately allowed us to trust that he was building our home as if it were his own. Marshall stayed in touch and quickly responded to any of our concerns.

    The day we walked through our new home, I will never forget how Marshall insisted that we walk around the side of the house to the rear yard before entering the front door. Again, he added that “Marshall” touch, remembering how important it was to me for the house to be positioned so that we could have a direct view of the pond. His presentation of the view was grand, personal and sheer delight. A moment I will always remember with a smile!

    Thank you for taking the time to read this important message. It is far too often that people communicate deficiencies when there are certainly good stories to be told. I know that you must be proud to have someone like Marshall on your team, and we are proud to live in a house that boasts the quality that he demanded during the building process.

    Dear Mr. Neal,

    By way of introduction, my name is Joe Miller. My wife Madeline and I recently moved from Venice to Lakewood Ranch. We decided to settle in one of your Sandcastle-model villas in the Indigo community. Speaking for both of us, I want to extend our appreciation for the outstanding service provided to us by the members of your staff – realtors, customer service, construction, warranty.

     

    Their continuous service has made our move reasonably easy. We are both extremely pleased with our new villa home, and we will certainly continue to recommend the Neal team to our friends (we have one that is currently building down the street from us). Thank you for your consistently professional work.

     

    On another note, I’d like to bring to your attention another development taking place in Lakewood Ranch. I’m a professional musician, having worked with various orchestras – Naples Philharmonic, Venice Symphony, Port Charlotte Symphony, Anna Maria Island Symphony – and in the jazz scene in Venice and Sarasota for many years. Now that I’m in Lakewood Ranch, I’m in the process of developing another professional group, The Lakewood Ranch Wind Ensemble.

     

    I envision the performances of this outstanding group of professional musicians providing exciting entertainment for local residents, as well as serving as a model for young musicians.

    Dear Mr. Neal,

    In January of 2018, we had written to you to let you know how pleased we were with the construction experience we had with our new home at Eagle Trace. We now felt the need to let you know about our experience with your Warranty Department.

    We have only had a few minor issues that needed to be addressed during our warranty period. Todd Reese made this process very easy for us. We would advise him ahead of time of the dates when we would be in Florida, and he would schedule the warranty appointments for us. Todd followed up with us, by telephone and email and in-person, to assure that the issues were taken care of. We found Todd to be extremely professional, courteous and friendly. As you can imagine, working on issues long distance can be very stressful, but Todd was diligent in doing everything he could to alleviate any anxiety that we may have had during this process.

    We would also like to take this opportunity to comment on the companies that Neal Communities deals with for warranty work. All the contractors that came out to our home, both for interior and exterior work, were very professional, timely and we feel did excellent work.

    Once again, we have been extremely pleased with our entire experience with Neal Communities and are very proud to own our home in Eagle Trace.

    We just wanted to thank the Neal Warranty Department and Steve Tanaka, in particular, for addressing a plumbing leak that occurred within our walls. The damage and repair issues were addressed in a professional and timely manner. We truly appreciate Neal Communities for shouldering the responsibility for this unfortunate event. We also appreciate the speed and concern with which the repair was done. The walls and baseboards look better than new!

    A Gem in Warranty

    As a single woman and solely responsible for the my Ridge home and its repairs, I recently experienced both toilets malfunctioning at the same time. I started looking for plumbers to fix the problem, but something told me to reach out to Nelson Belanger remembering he has been son helpful during the warranty period. Right before I made a decision to hire a plumber, I left a message for Nelson, hoping there was a chance he could help me. He returned my call promptly and told me that I was still under warranty period for mechanical issues/plumbing. Needless to say, that was music to my ears.

    It goes without saying that you would normally think that’s how it is supposed to work with people in the service industry. Warranty people should follow-through as one expects. That’s not always the case. However, you have a “gem” in Nelson Belanger. He is one awesome warranty representative. I’m sure it’s not surprising to anyone who has worked with Nelson; that he continues to provide exceptional service to the best of his ability. I belive wholeheartedly that although I don’t know Nelson personally, I am confident in saying, he must care about every facet of his life in the same way; he is a lovely human being.

    It is paramount that Neal Communities fulfill its promise to their homebuyers by providing the best quality of life in all general matters relating to the home. In this current social and economic climate, it is important that as a homeowner that I can rely upon that, starting with corporate and general employees.

    Thank you for hiring Mr. Belanger. It certainly speaks volumes about your ability and standards of excellence to employ the best personnel to fulfill the company’s goals. I want you to know that you are valued and appreciated, as much as I value Nelson Belanger.

    Amazed at Boca Royale

    I just wanted to say how happy I have been with our new home. It’s a quality home with great looks. The best part of the whole process has been working with the people of Boca Royale. Our salesperson, Dawna Bruner, has been fantastic. Mark Sochar also was a huge help in our home buying process.

    We used your Neal Finance team and was surprised how easy and stress-free it was. All great to work with.

    Finally, we have been dealing with Nick Fonczak on any issues with our new home. I really can not say enough good things about how he answers text messages quickly and deals with a problem ASAP. All we have had issues with is very small, minor problems and Nick handles them all as if they are extremely important.

    I don’t know how the other Neal Communities are with customer service but Boca Royale is amazing. We are looking forward to many years here and I just wanted to let you know how good we have been treated.
